HARARE CITY are not leaving anything to chance as they bid to clinch the Chibuku Super Cup on Saturday.
The municipal side has engaged the services of a psychologist.
City have had a brilliant run to the final, scoring an impressive 13 goals.
They boast of the tournament’s leading marksman William Manondo who has scored four goals ahead of the final.
Speaking at a pre-match press conference organised by the sponsors in the capital today, club secretary general Matthew Marara said the ticket to play in the CAF Confederation Cup next year is extra motivation for his side.
“We are taking this final very seriously because we want the ticket that will take us to Africa (CAF Confederation Cup). Hence we have engaged the services of a psychologist to psyche up our players.
“We have also been telling the players that if we win then we are going to play in Africa, so in terms of the extra motive I don’t think there is anything that beats playing in the continent,” said Marara.
City skipper David Kutyauripo said the Sunshine Boys will throw caution to the wind and attack DeMbare from the first whistle.
“We will be looking for goals to unsettle Dynamos from the very first whistle. They are a team whose cause is aided by their fans but we know if we score those same fans will turn against them and this will serve us well.
“We have been telling the younger players that this is a game that will put us on the spotlight as it will also be live on TV so we have to push very hard,” said Kutyauripo.
