THE coach of the Zimbabwe team at the African Senior Athletics Championships that starts in Accra, Ghana on Tuesday is happy that all his athletes are in camp.
Coach Phakamile Lisimati, the presence of all the athletes will enable him to assess preparedness both physical and mentally.
The Zimbabwe contingent is buoyed on by the recent splendid display by a number of athletes locally and abroad with the 4×400 men’s relay team’s fifth finish in the World Relays in Botswana, icing on the cake.
By Saturday evening all his athletes had assembled in Accra and are housed at a university which is acting as the Games Village.
