TWENTY Rainbow Netball League matches are set to illuminate courts across Zimbabwe this weekend, with table-toppers Glow Petroleum preparing for a demanding double-header against Khami and Tenax in Mutare.

The league will once again operate in a bubble format, with fixtures spread across seven venues: Mutare Farm Prison, Chikurubi Prison, Mkushi Depot, Shamva, Harare Municipal, TelOne Show Ground, and Ruwa.

Second-placed Correctional Services have their sights firmly set on the summit. Trailing Glow by just two points, they are determined to close the gap when they face Flow Angels and Rio Zim at the Chikurubi bubble.

“We aim to win all our matches with a strong goal margin to maintain our unbeaten run and take the lead on the log,” said head coach Faith Matanganyidze.

Fresh from being crowned champions at the 2025 Regional Correctional Services Sports and Cultural Games in Windhoek, Namibia, Matanganyidze says her squad is working on both the mental and physical aspects of their game to eliminate weaknesses ahead of the weekend.

GreenFuel, currently third with 42 points after winning 21 of their 23 matches, will also be in pursuit. They take on Black Mambas and ZRP Vixens at Mkushi Depot, eager to remain within striking distance of the leaders.
