Cricket league games resume

The league had been on a two-week sabbatical due to the franchise cricket action. Victor Mhlanga, the Mata-beleland Tuskers Cricket Franchise area manager said all the players were available for club cricket.

“The stage is set for the games and I would like to believe that everyone is raring to go. Competition is tight because no one wants to play in the second tier league. Last season Queens Sports Club was relegated to the lower league and they are fighting to come back,” said Mhlanga.

Emakhandeni have won all their opening four matches while their opponents are a place from the bottom of the log.

Lobengula West club Roosters who replaced Queens Sports Club at the beginning of the season and are at the bottom of the log, take on BAC at Queens Sports Club.
