Oh, what a night it was at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards.
Host Chelsea Handler kicked off award season on Sunday evening at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, with Sinners’ Miles Canton, Adolescence’s Owen Cooper and All Her Fault’s Sarah Snook taking home Critics Choice Awards.
During the award show—which aired across E! and USA networks—Jean Smart also took the stage to accept Best Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in Hacks, the cast of KPop Demon Hunters scored Best Animated Feature, while Frankenstein’s Jacob Elordi won Best Supporting Actor.
“Bloody hell,” he told the star-studded crowd. “I really didn’t plan for it.” Later in the ceremony, Marty Supreme star Timothée Chalamet won the award for Best Actor.
“I couldn’t do this without you,” he continued. “Thank you from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much. Appreciate it.” Kylie’s response? She mouthed “I love you” back to her boyfriend.
During his acceptance speech, Timothée gave a sweet shoutout to his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner.
“Lastly, I’ll just say thank you to my partner of three years,” he told Kylie, who was seated in the audience. “Thank you for our foundation. I love you.”
And for the final category of the night, Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another scored the award for Best Picture.
