THE awards season is here and every nomination list comes with a fight afterwards.

Zim hip hop artist, Crooger, has come out guns blazing after missing out on this year’s Zim Hip Hop Awards’ list.

He blasted the Zim Hip Hop Awards organiser, Adrian “Beefy” Harrison, for omitting him.

Crooger took to Instagram and wrote:

Mhosva yangu is I called out Beefy in Bulawayo last year to be organised and stop acting like hip hop ndeyekumba kwavo because we invest a lot of money, time and energy in this genre.”

“I guess his response was to side line me this year and ignore my efforts, which is still okay because I don’t need validation from him. Me and my team don’t want any association with your awards, so stop using artists’ names to get a quick buck.

“We all know Beefy hauna rimwe hustle; you wait the whole year kuti utswinyire money from sponsors into your own pocket.

“Remove my business partner from your nominations list, we didn’t submit to be part of your circus,” he added.

Kikky Bad*** also joined the conversation and posted:

“Crooger you’re the baddest my brother, all the upcoming artists know you’re a real one.

“You really genuinely supported them and they have so much respect for you. #fourtygang will change the dynamics.”
