Cuban delegation tours Liberation City

The Cuban delegation, led by president of the National Assembly, Honourable Esteban Lazo Hernandez, has toured the Liberation City encompassing the Museum of African Liberation.During the tour, Honourable Hernandez saw artefacts, studios and the structure of the Museum of African Liberation which is under construction.

He proceeded to water a Cuban tree that is adjacent their nation’s flag.
During the tour, Honourable Hernandez also donated a picture book of the late Cuban revolutionary leader, Fidel Castro, to the Museum of African Liberation.
Ambassador Kwame Muzavazi, CEO of the Institute of African Knowledge (INSTAK), also handed the Africa Fact Book to the Cuban delegation.

Among the delegates was the Minister of State for Harare Metropolitan Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Cde Charles Tawengwa, Zanu PF’s Secretary for International Relations and Special Envoy of the President in his recent visit to Cuba, Cde Simbarashe Mumbengegwi and Zanu PF deputy commissar, Cde Webster Shamu.
