Giants (m) take on fifth placed Kings in the last match set for tomorrow.
Saturday witnesses women’s log leaders Lakers taking on Highlanders at the BCD with Highlanders seeking to move level with Giants who are second placed and in the process halt Lakers’ winning streak.
Second placed Giants (w) square off with young MSU who will be looking for a win to leapfrog third placed Highlanders.
MSU (m) take on another young side Stars and both these young teams will be looking to end the season on a high note.
Oilers (m) will have a tough job of containing the Giants duo of player coach Emmanuel Mukandi and Muchengeti Hamandishe. The top male teams on the log Highlanders and Unicorns tangle in the match of the weekend with Bosso knowing that a loss all but extinguishes their league ambitions. The last match on Saturday pits third placed ALCC and Kings.
BBA secretary-general Joe Mujuru confirmed that these were going to be the last fixtures of the season and clubs were going to shift focus to club championships.
“We are concluding our league fixtures this weekend and we will turn to the club championships that will be eligible only to teams who make it into the top four. This tournament will be from 25-27 May in Harare,” Mujuru said.
