D-Day for notorious Mabvuku drug dealer

A Mabvuku man, who is suspected to be a serial drug dealer will know his fate this afternoon when magistrate Isheanesu Matova hands down his bail ruling in a case of illegal possession of dangerous drugs.
Allegations are that on January 13, detectives from CID Drugs and Narcotics received a tip-off that the suspect Frudrick Mzilawempi was in possession of crystal meth at Hunters Shopping Centre in Mabvuku.

Acting on the tip-off, the police went to the shopping centre and saw him sitting in his car, a white Toyota Sienta on registration AFP 2147.

The police introduced themselves and advised Mzilawempi of the purpose of their visit and went on to search him.

They recovered one satchet of crystal meth from his pockets which weighed 7 grammes and has a street value of US$70.
