Moments after delivering his keynote address in which he called on Zimbabweans to embrace peace as this was Dr Nkomo’s biggest wish, VP Mphoko was about to get off stage when the song Dairai Dairai by Mbare Chimurenga Choir, was belted out by DJ Mzoe.

The MCs began with poet Sithandazile Dube and Donna Nc with Babongile Sikhonjwa, Clive Chigubu and Zaza taking over the proceedings later on in the night.

Braving the cold the thousands that had gathered at White City Stadium were in a party mood, and enjoyed the acts.
