DANDEMUTANDE Investments has announced that it has been given clearance by the Postal and Telecommunications Authority of Zimbabwe (Potraz) to operate as an authorised reseller of Starlink services in Zimbabwe.
The firm is one of the leading internet access providers in the country.
Starlink, engineered by SpaceX, is the world’s first and largest satellite constellation using Low Earth Orbit satellites, which deliver affordable, high-speed, resilient internet to consumers and corporates regardless of their location.
Commenting on the announcement yesterday, Mr Never Ncube, the Dandemutande chief executive officer, said: “We are excited about this development as it allows us to take our commitment of connecting people, businesses, and communities, to the next level.
“We have been offering Starlink services through our Botswana and Malawi operations, and now have an opportunity to expand our local portfolio and equally provide solutions that empower our customers to thrive in an increasingly digital world.”
Consumers and the business sector, including those with operations in remote areas, will have access to reliable internet that is suitable as a primary or back-up solution with flexible deployment and rapid scalability.
