STRUGGLING Harare giants Dynamos dropped further into the relegation zone following a goalless draw against Greenfuel in Chisumbanje yesterday.

They are now part of the bottom four with eight points from nine games and share the relegation zone with bitters rivals, CAPS United, Kwekwe United and Triangle United with just three points in between.

Yesterday Dynamos were reduced to 10 men following the expulsion of Frank Agyemang in the 49th minute. Dynamos have the fewest goals in the Premiership with just two from nine games.

Assistant coach said they had expected a tough game given Greenfuel’s record at their home ground.

He was happy that Dynamos limited Greenfuel to long range efforts.

“We knew it was going to be difficult all day long. We knew we were coming for a tough game and we matched them…In the first half we suffered getting out of our box, We did not have the imagination but we still got a couple chances against the run of play, which would have seen us get one or two goals.

“Second half was not easy, red card and we have to suffer even more off the ball, they have numerical advantage, they add more offensive players. It becomes harder and harder but look, football being football, we are the ones who got the best chance but unfortunately Nyahwa skied his effort.”

In the end they were happy with the draw.

“We wanted to win but it was a tough game on the road, and we take the point.”

He feels they are on the right track and blamed the current run of results to the pressures of rebuilding and being expected to win matches.
