Dynamos will grant Tendai Matindife the green light to join rivals CAPS United on loan if a formal request is lodged as was the case with Jayden Bakari.
Matindife, who is already training with CAPS United, played for them in a pre-season friendly against MWOS in Norton over the weekend.
Matindife gave a top-notch performance, which made several Dynamos fans question the decision to push him out of the squad.
A source at Dynamos said they are willing to let him cross the floor as they have a clause on their loan contracts, that bar the player from playing against them.
“The club is not worried that he will be joining our rivals CAPS United because we put clauses in the contracts that won’t see our loaned players playing against us.
“Already we have sent Jayden Bakari on loan to them.
Even though they are rivals we have a history of doing business.
“Of course, we are going to assist the player to join CAPS United on loan as it might give him a new leaf in his football career.
“The player went AWOL at some point and that compromised his working relationship with his immediate supervisors.
“Within the Dynamos ranks everyone understands that he is very talented and can be of great addition to every squad in the country but his major challenge is failing to play to his potential.”
