Dendera explosion hits Mutare

DENDERA music prodigy, Tryson Chimbetu is back in Mutare for another dance with his legion of fans at the watering hole situated in Mutare’s city centre this weekend.

 

Backed by the Marxist Brothers, Chimbetu who always leaves fans clamouring for more whenever he performs in Mutare is expected to belt out his fine compositions such as Mikaila, Chihera Remix, Maria, Ndirangarire and Juliana, as well as some of the dendera music founders’ Simon and Naison Chimbetu’s yesteryear hits.

 

All shows start at 8pm.

 

Strip teasers from Bulawayo and Gweru, led by Sasha, will entertain patrons in the VVIP room.

Micasa

Resident DJs Frazer and Terminator are this weekend expected to send patrons into frenzy with their old and new skool music.

 

The club management recently reintroduced the jukebox session which has proved popular among revellers.

 

Mutare’s rising afro jazz sensation, WaCharie, this week headlines the Sunday Jazz night which starts at 2pm.

Chitsa Bar

DJs Wizzy and Spillz will clash on the turntables in a battle dubbed ‘New Beats vs Classics’.

 

The clash is set to light up the joint which attracts adult imbibers of all age groups.

 

The event will run from tonight (Friday) till tomorrow.

 

A selected local live band will headline the Sunday groove session which will run till the wee hours of Monday.

Manicaland Showgrounds

The entertainment joint and watering hole, popular for gaming and unwinding, all week through offers a variety of slot machines and live table games.

 

The joint has table games such as Blackjack, Roulette and Varyjack.

 

Gamers are also treated to classic music as well as ice cold beer and snacks.

Rozvi Gazebo

The watering hole, situated in Dangamvura, is back with a bang this summer with a lot of outdoor entertainment activities.

 

This and other weekends, veteran DJ Ranga T of the Tuff Nuff Sounds entertain fun lovers with an assortment of music till Sunday night.

Madziro Bar

Veteran deejay Candyman, fondly known as the Retro Don, entertain patrons at the entertainment joint situated along the Mutare-Chimanimani Highway.

 

The open air area will be lit as from 2pm till the last man drops.
