Dendera United farce asTuku fails to unite Tryson, Sulu.

Mtukudzi’s birthday over the weekend, took their beef on stage and performed separately.
The latest development proved there was virtually nothing that could bring Tryson and Suluman together for now.

They failed to unite in honour of Mtukudzi, an icon who plied the trade together with their late fathers. Prior to the birthday bash, Tryson and Suluman sat apart and did not speak to each other although they tried to cover up their differences by referring to each other as brothers.
Joe Nyamungoma, who is Suluman’s publicist, was evasive on the issue saying there was a change in the programme.

“I don’t know what happened, yes, I know they were supposed to perform together but when we were given the programme Tryson was already on stage,” he said.
One of the organisers, Josh Hozheri, professed ignorance on the issue saying the programme was changed since Suluman had a private function elsewhere.
“Sulumani told us he had to perform at a private function first, so we had to change the programme,” he said.

The Herald Entertainment understands that Suluman did not want a united band but instead wanted Tryson to join him on stage.
At a luncheon hosted by Tuku@60 Bash organisers at Garwe Restaurant, the brothers avoided each other and did not even chat.
After it was announced that they were supposed to perform together, both of them refused to comment.

“We will see what will happen after the Tuku bash, lets focus on the gig for now,” said Tryson.
Sulu also refused to commit himself on the issue of performing together.
“You heard what my brother (Tryson) said, let’s concentrate on the gig first,” said Sulu before dashing away.

The Chimbetus recently made headlines in the media after Suluman revealed that he wanted to bar other artistes from performing his late father Simon’s songs. Tryson believes the move was targeted at him. Late last year, the rift between the two widened when Tryson accommodated members from Suluman’s band into his own Marxist Brothers.

Phillip Dzivike, Shacky Phiri, Wayne Kembo and Nyasha Mugari deserted the Orchestra Dendera Kings citing poor remuneration.
After losing his members to Tryson, Suluman quickly raided Macheso’s camp and roped in Francis Dhaka, Elton Muropa and Noel Nyazanda in a bid to spite Tryson, who enjoys a close relationship with Macheso.
