DYNAMOS fan favourite, Denver Mukamba, said the current crop of players at the club are showing the same character as the squad, which claimed four PSL titles, on the atrot.
The Glamour Boys thrashed newboys Sheasham 4-0 in a Castle Lager Premiership match on Sunday.
They brought their tally to five goals, in just two games, with ‘keeper Taimon Mvula still to concede a goal.
Mukamba is enjoying a fresh beginning at the club and he has had a decent start despite a reduced role.
He has featured as a second half substitute in their first two assignments.
And, it appears he still has the full backing of the blue family given the special welcome he received in the City of Kings and the capital.
“I think we have a good squad to challenge for the title and our coaches have done well in fusing the youngsters and the players who have a bit of experience.
“Without a doubt, this team has what it takes to reach for the stars and, as a senior player, I want to help the youngsters to make a name for themselves. It’s the same way other senior players assisted me when I joined this club.
“I think there is no difference between this team and the one that won four league titles.”
Mukamba insisted he was entitled to guide his teammates to tick the correct boxes.
The 30-year-old says he has a responsibility to set an example by working harder than anyone else.
“I have had the privilege to play for this great club sharing the dressing room with people like Murape Murape, who knows what it means to play for Dynamos.
“I have acquired a lot of experience during my stay at this club and my tenure in South Africa as well.
“I have seen a lot and I know what needs to be done in playing a key role in instilling confidence in my teammates to maintain the standards which we are setting for ourselves, ” said Mukamba.
