Deputy Speaker re-launch Parly TB Caucus

The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Cde Tsitsi Gezi on Friday re-launched the Zimbabwe National TB Caucus joining the global fight to eradicate the disease by 2030.

The caucus was first established in 2016 but has not been active of late due to changes in membership.

“It is an honour to address you today at the relaunch of Zimbabwe’s National TB Caucus as we reaffirm our commitment to eliminating tuberculosis in our country,” she said.

“This event represents a defining moment in our collective effort to address one of the world’s most pressing health challenges.

“As we renew our dedication to combating tuberculosis we pledge to work as a team and tirelessly eradicate TB from Zimbabwe and beyond.”
