Designers hold fundraising fashion show

STANDING away from the spotlight for once, local designers are set to take part in the Bulawayo Fashion Premier Charity show set to be held at Grand Vista, which is aimed at raising funds for the vulnerable and orphans.

Designers from Harare and Bulawayo will take part in the noble charity cause to be held next week on Thursday.

Prominent designers including Clixclothing and Chanteclothing House of Mutu are going to headline the charity show.

Local designer Clix from Cixclothing, who is part of the charity show, said he was upbeat to be part of the noble cause.

a�?I am honoured and happy to present my collection at the show and most importantly to be helping the disadvantaged. Ita��s a good thing to give back to the community now and then. This being my first charity show wona��t be the last,a�? said Clix.

Model Shadel Noble who just returned from one of the biggest fashion shows in Botswana and Jimmy Mhlanga are expected to grace the runway on the event.

Companies that include Edgars, Femina Garments and Lazarus and Sarif are the sponsors of the event.
