WARRIORS defender Divine Lunga joined camp on Wednesday just in time for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations opening qualifier against Sierra Leone in Morocco this evening.
The match kicks off at 7pm.
Lunga has been on club assignment with South Africa giants Mamelodi Sundowns, playing Saudi side Al Ahli in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup.
There were doubts about his availability for this tie, but the former Chicken Inn man arrived in Morocco yesterday.
He didn’t take part in the late session but was involved in this morning’s activation.
However, Lunga might start on the bench given that coach Ramon Catala had already drafted his Starting 11 after yesterday’s fine-tuning preparation.
Either Corbin Mthunzi or Shane Maroodza will start on the left side of defence, with indications also suggesting Sean Fusire will be deployed at the right side ahead of Emmanuel Jalai.
