RODWELL Dhlakama has made his second foreign adventure by joining the Motsepe Foundation Championship side, Black Leopards, in South Africa.
His camp confirmed that the former ZPC Kariba coach has signed a three-year contract.
Dhlakama leaves ZPC Kariba just four points off the drop-zone in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.
“It’s true, Dhlakama is no longer with ZPC Kariba.
“He has just penned a three-year deal with Black Leopards,” said his handlers.
He now awaits a work permit before reporting for duty in Limpopo.
He was not on the bench when ZPC Kariba humbled Manica Diamonds 3-0 on Saturday.
Darlington Dodo, who was his assistant, is expected to hold fort at the powermen for the remaining four games.
Black Leopards become Dhlakama’s third club this season.
He had a flying start with Ngezi Platinum Stars in the PSL, amassing seven points from a possible nine.
He even reached the Chibuku Super Cup final, which he lost to FC Platinum on penalty shootouts.
He was, however, shown the exit door, under unclear circumstances, after falling out of favour with one of the club’s leaders.
Dhlakama returned to the dugout after six months at ZIFA Central Region Division One team, ZPC Munyati.
His stay was short-lived as he was transferred to guide ZPC Kariba, who were battling relegation.
His introduction breathed life into ZPC Kariba’s camp and they climbed out of the red zone.
Dhlakama’s contract with ZPC Kariba was set to expire next month.
