AMBITIOUS Premiership side Ngezi Platinum Stars are through to the Chibuku Super Cup final for the second successive time after defeating debutants Cranborne Bullets in an evenly balanced match played at National Sports Stadium this afternoon.

A Bruno Mtigo strike two minutes after the breather was all the Mhondoro miners needed to secure them a ticket into the decider for another shot at the title after narrowly losing 1-0 in the previous final.

Sakubva-bred hitman Nyasha Chintuli led Ngezi Platinum Stars’ attack while his teammates from Mutare Anelka Chivandire and Chang Mariyoni were unused substitutes.

Dhlakama, who traces his roots to Chipinge, has transformed his charges into a formidable side which has seen them losing only one game in the competition on their run to the final.

Madamburo have been firing on all cylinders with a sharp forward line led by the free-scoring Chintuli and Mtigo while their defence has been impenetrable.
