DIAMOND City Production in conjunction with Skillz Entertainment based in the United Kingdom is expected to present the official recording of Diamond Skillz Riddim produced by Iton at Propabless studios in Mbare, Harare in the near future. Speaking from his UK base, DJ Skillz, the owner of Skillz Entertainment expressed confidence in their work.

“I have confidence in what we are doing and I hope we will go a long way. I am involved with Zimdancehall, so I thought I should collaborate with Diamond City and form a partnership,” he said.

DJ Skillz said he was willing to work with upcoming dancehall artistes in Mutare and help them to get recognition in big stages.
“Mutare has talent and one of my aims is to help the artistes get recognition in big stages, but it depends with them if they are willing to co-operate with us,” said Skillz.
Skillz was born and bred in Mutare’s high-density suburb of Chikanga and left for UK in 2006.

Diamond City Trust manager, Shingi Nyanhete, confirmed the latest development and said that the recordings were underway.
“We started the recordings last week on Monday. We will be using C Bleech Studios in Yeovil. So far we have one artiste from Germany who wants to feature on our riddim as well as Killer T. Some of the artistes who will feature on the riddim include Platinum and Ras Caleb. So far about 20 artistes have indicated their willingness to work with us,” said Nyanhete.
