Digitruck to empower marginalised communities: Chinese Ambassador Zhou

The Digitruck initiative is aimed at enhancing digital empowerment for the Zimbabwean people, especially those in rural areas, Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe Zhou Ding has said.
Speaking at the launch of the Digitruck by President Mnangagwa at State House this morning, Ambassador Zhou said the initiative will improve people’s digital awareness and skills.
He encouraged the continuation of this endeavour to utilise digital technology and break down barriers.
“Your Excellency, the President, your unwavering dedication to modernisation, infrastructure expansion, and social equity is notable across the country and beyond,” Ambassador Zhou said.
“We are working on the exciting programme regionally. We are championing your noble philosophy of leaving no place and no one behind.”
