STAR FM presenter, Owen “DJ Ollah 7” Madondo’s son has dropped his first song titled Amai.

Tinotenda Keith Madondo, aka Junior Bagga, dropped the video to the song on Tuesday featuring Dhafu.

In an interview with H-Metro, DJ Ollah 7 said his son is ready to take the world by storm.

“Junior Bagga was inspired by watching other kids like Mukudzei Jr and Andrea the Vocalist doing great and he said I want to do music.

“He started recording some hip hop and a bit of Zimdancehall.

“This is his first professional song with an accompanying video,” he said.

He said his music career will not distract him from performing well in school.

“He is versatile, mixing dancehall and hip hop and still finding where his strength is.

“Music doesn’t affect his school work. He recorded this song a year ago when he was seven during school holidays and we didn’t officially release it until today (yesterday) when we decided to drop the video as well.

“He is very brilliant in class. I realised that he can sing when he was six because sometimes he sings at church,” said the Star FM presenter.

“I’m giving him moral, emotional and financial support to make sure that he’s doing the right thing.

“I made sure that all the resources are available for him to shoot the video.

“We even asked Dhafu to be part of the video because she’s is one of his favourite actresses in Zimbabwe which then boosted his morale.”
