DJs defy tropical storm Isaac

He beat his other competitors — DJ Narity, DJ Richie D, DJ Naz, DJ Inferno, and DJ Karim — who each took turns delivering their and her best 15-minute sets.
“I am pleased that Red Bull took the chance to consider Jamaica as a country of participation and I will not let us down. My focus is now on the finals in Chicago September 24 to the 29 and I will be bringing all I have for that showdown,” said DJ Nicco.
For an hour and a half, the wheels of steel spun hot under the DJs’ expertise with musical offerings spanning dancehall, hip hop, techno, and even old school reggae. In the end, the three judges — the Captain Collin Hines, Claudette Powell and Christopher Edmonds — were most impressed by DJ Nicco’s skills and declared him the champion and ultimate party rocker.
