FAST-RISING Zimdancehall artiste, Dobba Don of the Mudendere fame will be in Victoria Falls this weekend for a debut performance at Wildthing Action Bar.
He will perform with Lady Squanda, the self-proclaimed dancehall Queen.
Squanda, who is famed for her hit-track – Ndinovhaira – said she was excited to be performing in the resort town where she plans to belt out a streak of new singles.
“Fans in Victoria Falls should expect to hear my new singles for the first time on Saturday. I’ve never performed in the resort town and I want to leave a mark that’s going to be difficult to erase,” said Lady Squanda.
“I’m glad to have stayed in the industry for quite a long time considering that my music is being appreciated. I believe that God has made me excel and helped me stay relevant.”
Dobba Don also assured fans of a night to remember.
“I’m ready for Saturday night. I’ve been told that Victoria Falls has a repulsive audience who’re slowly appreciating our music. When they watch me in action, their favourite genre will definitely be Zimdancehall,” said Dobba Don.
Show promoter, Paul Shambare, who has promoted numerous dancehalls shows in Vic Falls, said: “This is a great opportunity for the two dancehall artists to meet their fans from this side of the country. I’m hoping they’ll live up to expectation.”
