Doctor acquitted of malicious damage to property charges

when she appeared before Harare magistrate Ms Shelly Zvenyika.
Mauchaza of Gunhill in Harare was acquitted at the close of the State case after the latter failed to prove a case against her.
The complainant in the matter was Ms Charity Nyabinge.
Prosecutor Ms Rosewitter Madembo told the court that on August 4 last year, the doctor went to Ms Nyabinge’s house in Msasa demanding her title deeds and an altercation ensued.
Mauchaza allegedly became violent destroying Nyabinge’s property.
She is alleged to have destroyed property worth US$2 500
