UP-AND-COMING musician Dot6ix is steadily building momentum as he works on and releases a string of new tracks in a bid to secure his breakthrough in the music industry.
Born Prince Thabo, the Bulawayo-based rapper recently dropped a love song titled Manheru, adding to his growing catalogue which includes Siyaneni (2025), Thela featuring Jah Signal (2024) and Dali featuring Nicky Vibes.
The artiste said he believes gatekeeping has been a barrier to his growth, and he is now focused on ensuring his music reaches a wider audience.
“I deliver music for the soul with focus on the Afro-fusion genre. This is driven by my love for melody and music as an art form. There is no specific inspiration behind it; it just came up while I was chilling in the studio.
“My dream now is for people to relate to my music and to be recognised for being unique in my own aesthetics. I want to instil hope in people through my music, with more tracks set to be released this year,” said Dot6ix.
Commenting on his latest release, Manheru, Dot6ix said the song speaks to love, patience and reassurance in relationships.
“Manheru is a track that is more like letting your girl know that even though you are far, you still choose her, and all she has to do is be patient because when you get time, you will show up and everything you are doing is for you and her,” he said. – Follow on X: @mthabisi_mthire
