Doubles WekwaMarange bounces back

BUDDING Zim Dancehall chanter, Decide Razerera Marange, affectionately known as Doubles weKwaMarange, believes his recently-launched album titled Maungira will scale him to dizzy heights if the response he is getting from his fans is anything to go by.

The 13-track album was produced by PTK, Oskid, Tman, and Hoodstar.

Title track, Maungira, has received rave reviews among listeners and has proved to be a potential hit, particularly among Zim Dancehall fans.

Others songs carried on the album are Sekacheche remix, Godo, Kana aripo, Haleluya, Zheti, Kupenga ft PTK, Nhabvu, Ndakacharger, Minana, Shingirira, Anotigaira hora, and Xmas.

In an interview on the sidelines of a well-attended album launch gig at popular entertainment joint, KwaBaba Acho, to be a potential hit, particulaly ort I got from stakeholders, i beliethe Mabhobho hit-maker, said revered producers, PTK and Oskid made the album one of his best.

“Most lyrics on my songs are based on my life’s experiences. I experienced a lot of trials and tribulations as I grew up so I sometimes try to put such on pen and paper. I am overwhelmed by the support I have received from my local fans especially since when I launched my career four years ago. I engaged experienced producers such as PTK and Oskid and I am happy that their magic worked,” he added.

“We have great things in store for our beloved fans in Mutare. Although we are based in Harare, we will continue to hold some shows in Mutare as we aim to bond with our beloved fans from our home soil,” said Doubles’ manager, Eric Zimani, popularly known as Zal.
