DRC expatriate joins Manica Diamonds

FORMER GreenFuel, Mutare City Rovers and Ratings top man, Babadi Tshipamba, who was now at refugees’ camp outfit, Tongogara United Football Club, has joined Premier Soccer League side, Manica Diamonds Football Club.

‎‎‎‎The 29-year-old Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) expatriate, who was the leading top goal scorer in the Pacific Storm Eastern Region Soccer League chats, with 11 goals finally sealed the move to the Mutare outfit, amid high expectations of adding depth to the Manica Diamonds frontline.

‎‎Tongogara Refugees Settlement administrator, Johanne Mhlanga, confirmed the move.

‎‎In a statement, Mhlanga said: “It is now official. Tshipamba Babadi, the Tongogara United Football Club talisman has signed a six-month contract with Premier Soccer League outfit, Manica Diamonds FC. Congratulations to our own!”
