A GROUP of young innovators have a dream of establishing an agricultural university.
They believe the university, to be called Critical Agricultural Mathematics of Economic Development (CAMED) University, will help students with start-up income generating projects.
Gerald Judges, founder of an organisation called JET Project Junior Economic Thinkers, said the purpose of the university is to help students set up life-sustaining businesses, after completing their three-year courses.
He said courses at CAMED University will help students generate income while still enrolled at the institution.
“We need financial support from the Government for us to be able to build this university.
“Students’ results will be graded according to their capabilities in generating income through agricultural projects, with the assistance of lecturers,” said Judges.
He said they had engaged chiefs, and school heads, with their idea and it was being embraced.
