Drug dealer nabbed with dagga

UNLAWFUL possession and dealing in dagga landed a Mutare man in soup after police arrested him with the stash last Friday.
National police spokesperson, Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed Samuel Carlos Tiengane’s arrest, as law enforcement agents intensify the fight against drugs peddling and substance abuse.
“Police in Mutare on Friday, June 26, 2026 arrested Samuel Carlos Tiengane (28) at Nyakamete Industrial Area for unlawful possession and dealing in dagga. The suspect was found in possession of 122 twists of dagga and several sachets of loose dagga,” he said.
Commissioner Nyathi warned the public that law enforcement agents are maintaining a zero tolerance towards drugs and substance abuse through various initiatives to tackle the menace.
