The group said it will concentrate on plays to do with the environment as part of its education programme.
The group’s first play will be Green and Sexy to be staged on the 26th of this month at the National Museum auditorium.
In an interview, the group’s producer and choreographer Mandla Moyo said the group wanted to create awareness about the dangers of destroying the environment.
He said they will be using theatre as a tool to educate the public about the importance of preserving natural resources.
“Our brand of theatre is solely concerned with creating public awareness about pressing environmental issues like global warming and the exhaustion of natural resources,” said Moyo.
The group’s manager, Bhekizulu Sibanda said the play, Green and Sexy would be about the conflict between city life and rural life, with an old man on his death-bed failing to decide his successor between the technologically conscious city grandchild and his rural grandchild who is aware of the dangers of destroying the environment.
