AFTER winning the Marondera Classic two weeks ago, Eddie Marondera has now set his focus on winning Musclemania 2014 which has been slated for Hapizen Plaza in Hatfield tomorrow. The competition had been postponed twice over logistical challenges, but it now looks set to go ahead this weekend. “I have been on a diet since winning the Marondera Classic and I feel I deserved the title. I am expecting tougher competition but I am not scared of anyone,” said Marondera.

Competition organiser Tofara Moyo said they were expecting over 100 athletes to take part in this year’s edition which will also showcase the talents of Zimbabwean bodybuilders in Botswana and South Africa.

Last year’s winner, Champion Chiendaramwano, is also expected to take part.
Other high-profile athletes include Sylvester Mwila from Zambia, who won the Mr Southern Africa title, Brighton Mazikana from Mutare and Isaac Sugar Chimuchenga.
