A joint statement signed by representatives of both management and workers said that the issue at the centre of the dispute was not about salaries but performance-related rewards that had since been referred to the National Employment Council for arbitration.
“The issue in question was about performance-related rewards and not salaries as quoted.
“The industrial climate has improved subsequent to the resolution of this dispute.
“We assure all stakeholders that this issue does not affect the operational performance of the company now or in the future,” the statement said.
