Meanwhile, bullets were found inside mail destined for Rome’s mayor and Italy’s justice minister, the authorities said on Monday.
An envelope that was addressed to Mayor Gianni Alemanno’s secretary contained two bullets and a note from an extremist group named after a slain Red Brigade terrorist.
A similar parcel was addressed to Italy’s justice minister, the mayor said. The suspicious envelopes were intercepted in Rome post offices just days after a letter bomb went off, wounding a tax official. – RT/Reuters.
