adminfor Toendepi district Cde Vengai Musengi told youths to embrace empowerment programmes that were initiated under the leadership of President Robert Mugabe since the attainment of independence.
The bicycles would be used by the youths to convey party messages in the forthcoming harmonised elections.
“Our President went with fellow comrades to the liberation struggle with future generations in mind.
“Now the country is independent we have to fully utilise resources and the intellect that came from our President’s education policies.
“Many youths who were born after independence also benefited from the land reform programme and they have to appreciate because the environment in the country is conducive for youths to venture into various businesses,” Cde Musengi said.
He said the bicycles would assist Zanu-PF to convey messages to the electorate faster.
