CAPS United forward, Emmanuel Mandiranga, says he is settling well at his new club after leaving Harare City.
Mandiranga was the leading goal-scorer at City, with four goals, when he moved.
He is yet to score for the Green Machine in the two games he has featured for Makepekepe.
Mandiranga also worked with CAPS United coach, Lloyd Chitembwe, at the Sunshine City Boys.
“I am settling well, in terms of all important aspects,’ he told H-Metro.
“The players and the technical team gave me a great welcome.
“I have gelled well, in terms of playing style and knowing what the coach wants us to do.
“It’s unfortunate I haven’t scored yet but I think everything is going in the right direction.
“Remember, I have worked with the coach before and I know what he expects us to do in the team.
“Football is all about focusing on your goals and achieving them as a team.”
CAPS United will host Manica Diamonds at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Mandiranga is looking forward to the game.
“We are training well and we are picking points, which is important for the team, coming from a difficult phase where we were losing matches.
“So, with that in mind, every point really counts.
“I’m expecting to have a great game, with no pressure on myself.
“I just want to go there and enjoy myself.
“There is always pressure to get goals for the team. So, each time I play, I will be looking to have more goals and make the team win.
“But, as always, I don’t wait to only give my contribution in attack, but also defensively.
“Since the beginning of the season, I have set goals that I want to achieve.
“I am aiming for double figures by the end of the season and always giving outstanding performances.”
CAPS United are sitting in 13th place with 22 points.
Mandiranga also joins the group of players who have played for both Dynamos and CAPS United.
