HARARE City coach Taurai Mangwiro says they want to keep the formula which finally brought them a win at the weekend.
Mangwiro’s men edged Triangle to stop a poor run of form.
They now face unpredictable Cranborne Bullets at Vengere on Saturday.
“We play Cranborne on Saturday in Rusape, this is coming at the back of a much-needed win against Triangle, which kind of gave us confidence, which had been low.
“Having gone for a long period, without a win, we really needed the victory.
“We still have a long way to go, we lost a lot of ground and if you notice, the teams at the bottom are now picking points and we can’t afford any slip-ups.
“We shouldn’t get carried away with tahe victory over Triangle, it was well deserved and the boys put up a stellar show.
“Cranborne is a different opponent, if you notice, they got off to a decent start, now they’re picking points and we need to be at our best to salvage something out of that game,” he said.
He added:
“Our preparations are going on fairly well, we still have Innocent Sambezi, who is injured and we are monitoring Kelvin Shangiwa while Wilfred Muvirimi is ill.
“And, for this game, we hope that the boys will continue with the form that they showed in the past two games. “One against Yadah, and three against Triangle, we seem to be on the ascendancy though the challenge remains the poor conversion rate.
“We are not despairing, we are trying combinations, until we get it right.
“We have a couple of youngsters we have brought on board, we hope they will increase our options.
“We’ve turned to our Cubs, our team in Division One, that’s where we are going to take talent from and we hope that these boys will come in handy for us.”
