England’s Wolves reach agreement with Reims for Marshall Munetsi

According to a report from RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Wolverhampton Wanderers have reached an agreement in principle with Stade de Reims for Marshall Munetsi (28).

The English Premier League side are thought to have offered €20 million for the Zimbabwean international as they look to bolster their options ahead of the final stretch of the season.

The club are fighting a relegation battle and sit only two points above the drop.

However, due to this deal occurring on transfer deadline day, Reims will only let Munetsi leave once they have found a replacement for him.

That replacement could be Joris Chotard who Marc Mechenoua has stated is a target for the club.

Reims could accelerate their talks with Montpellier HSC to secure Chotard. The midfielder had been on the market over the summer and is thought to be keen to take the next step in his career. (www.getfootballnewsfrance.com)
