South African actress Khanyi Mbau dumps Zimbabwean boyfriend

South African actress Khanyi Mbau has once again ended her relationship with her Zimbabwean boyfriend, Kudzai Mushonga.

Khanyi, who has had an on-and-off relationship with the Zimbabwean businessman, has decided to call it quits.

Khanyi Mbau announced on her Instagram page that she is no longer in a relationship with Kudzai Mushonga.

However, she did not disclose the reason for the breakup. Instead, she hinted that “he did some bad things and tried to make it up to her.”

She wrote;
“He was a good guy, but he did some bad things, he tried everything he could to make it up to me. I did most of my grieving while we were together. I finally got the courage to leave. And of course l wish him the best.”

Captioning the post, she wrote; Khanyi Mbau’s breakup announcement came as a surprise to many, as the couple always appeared deeply in love. Social media users took to the comment section to share their mixed reactions over their breakup.

Khanyi Mbau and Kudzai Mushonga first met in 2016 at a campaign meeting but only started dating in 2019. They went public with their relationship in February 2021 and have since enjoyed a luxurious life in Dubai. Their commitment was evident, with Khanyi tattooing Kudzai’s name on her thigh and Kudzai inking hers on his chest.

Khanyi Mbau and Kudzai Mushonga have had a tumultuous relationship, with multiple breakups over the years.

In August 2021, the couple made headlines when Khanyi abruptly left Dubai without informing Kudzai and flew back to South Africa. A distressed Kudzai took to social media, claiming she was missing and pleading for her return. He later apologized for the circumstances that led to her departure, reaffirming his love for her.
