ESTEEM Communications, a local public relations company which has done brand development and digital marketing work for some of the big names in local business and arts sectors won big at the Institute of Public Relations and Communications Zimbabwe (IPRCZ) 2019 Excellence Awards held at Cresta Lodge in Harare on Wednesday night.
The fast growing company which won the Best Emerging Public Relations Agency award for 2019 has worked with big brands like Nash Paints, Wezhaz Executive Cars, KitchenLink, ProAir, Ebenezer Distributors, Tandview Engineering and Hardsound as well as artistes like Alick Macheso, Nicholas Zakaria, Tryson Chimbetu, Mpostori Wency and Myrah Dube to name a few.
Speaking to The Sunday Mail, founder and Chief Executive Officer of the company Takemore Mazuruse said they were humbled by the honours.
“We are the dream factory working with various brands in the business, arts and development sectors and we are really humbled by this feat. This vision started around 2012 until such a time we would work with brands like Restless Development, United Nations Volunteers (UNV), Inerela and Zimbabwe Council of Churches.
“We have also helped artistes professionalise and get meaningful brand traction through digital marketing services and we continue playing our part in brand development,” he said.
Mazuruse said the award was a big endorsement for their work and they were geared for an even bigger and better 2020.
“We have recorded commendable progress since we started working with these big brands and our biggest strength has been the use of market tested strategies. We have the right package for everyone from the upstarts to the established brands and that has seen us contributing to the growth of brand management in Zimbabwe,” he said.
While there are so many players in the local business space, many of them have remained stagnant owing to lack of strategy and Mazuruse said their brand was the answer to that anomaly.
“We have seen players in business, arts and the development sector failing to exert themselves well because they lack strategy. We have, therefore, stepped into the picture with market tested strategies aimed at growing brands from a hand-to-mouth operation to booming businesses,” Mazuruse said.
The award winning company boasts of a young and vibrant team of creatives, marketers and multimedia specialists.
“We are strong on talent and skill base and we believe we are the go to company for all brand development services. Our strategy for the next five years is to birth new and strong brands that will contribute to a strong Zimbabwean economy.
“We are open to engagement with all entrepreneurs. Players in the arts and development sectors must feel free to engage us,” he said.
Esteem Communications has lined up a number of brand development campaigns for 2020 and they have promised an exciting business year.
“We have designed exciting brand development and promotional campaigns for our clients and we just can’t wait to unleash them in the new year,” Mazuruse said.
