Last year’s edition of the Euromoney Conference attracted over 800 policymakers, investors, financiers and multilateral institutions.
The 2011 event was highlighted when at the close of the conference Afreximbank chief executive officer Mr Jean-Louis Ekra signed the bank’s fund financing trade with Zimbabwe, which was then touted as a “landmark transaction demonstrating the country’s re-entry into the global financial system”.
According to the organisers of the event, Euromoney Conferences, the keynote speakers this year include Minister of Finance Tendai Biti and Development Bank of South Africa chairman Mr Jabu Moleketi.
Euromoney Conferences has described this year’s edition as focused on “bringing together policymakers, businessmen, financiers and key overseas players in a high-level conference which will highlight Zimbabwe’s attractions as a destination for fruitful investment”.
This year’s edition features an outstanding line-up of speakers from both Zimbabwe and international institutions.
