Ex-inmate set to release solo album

“The album will consist of seven tracks and I am yet to decide on the name of the album. All the songs are a result of my experiences in prison and I have faith it will not go wrong. This is a solo effort which is aimed at exposing some of may latent talent,” Dizha said.
“Before I was slapped with an imprisonment term I was a keyboard player. I learnt many things from fellow members of Divine Touch.”
“I managed to compose many songs since we had ample time to do so. I believe the message contained in the music will minister in various ways to many music lovers.
“This shows that time spent in prison is not time wasted but time invested; it just needs a person with a good vision and one who accepts reality and put such time to good use.
“Society has already accepted me as a reformed person, who is multi-talented and in a position to contribute a lot through music.
“We are still making efforts to get back together as a group and continue with the amazing work we started in prison because as a team, I think we will produce more amazing albums.”
“I did this project alone, while we wait for the one of our members to be released from prison,” he added.
Divine Touch gospel group was formed in 2010 and consisted of 15 prison inmates who were based at Chikurubi Maximum Prison.
Among the most notable figures were Womberai Zambuko, William Dube, Rufaro Kombore, Tongai Mbaso, William Munetsi, Prosper Chineka and Andrew Chingaya.
