Hailing from Chitungwiza, Mutandwa has been winning new souls to Christ with his soulful voice.
The gifted artist draws inspiration from his unwavering faith and his deep-rooted desire to impact lives positively.
As the clock ticks closer to the release of Moment in Worship, Mutandwa told H-Metro that the 11-track worship album is set to bring people closer to God.
The album is self-produced with the help of guitarist Timothy Philips and Don Stouter.
“My fourth album – Moments in Worship is set to be an extraordinary collection of divine melodies that will resonate well with the hearts of believers and non-believers alike.
“Each track has been meticulously crafted to create an atmosphere of worship, transcending earthly bounds and inviting listeners.
“I just want to bring in the presence of God through music to the people and a lot of people are elated and looking forward to the album as I bring in a new sound of original worship songs,” he said.
Mutandwa believes God has sent him to change people’s lives.
“God has been orchestrating this project from the beginning.
“I believe that through the album, souls will be stirred, lives will be transformed, and the presence of God will be tangibly felt,” he said.
Mutandwa has been making waves with his distinct vocal talent and profound song-writing skills having started his career as a child.
A passionate worshipper, Mutandwa draws his inspiration from his deep faith and experiences.
He is a former ZimPraise member and his last album Butterfly was launched in 2017.
He got a lot of inspiration from the United States’ famous gospel singer, VaShawn Mitchell, for which he did a cover for the internationally-renowned track Nobody Greater.
