It is a fifth instalment in the mission. It is much of Ethan and team take on their most impossible mission yet, eradicating the syndicate an international organisation as highly skilled as they committed to destroying the IMF.
“Mission Impossible” deals with nerve gas being sold to terrorists. Impossible mission force agent Ethan Hunt is set to prove the existence of the syndicate of international criminals.
Reporting to an IMF substation to receive his next orders, Hunt is captured by the syndicate but escapes a torture chamber led by syndicate member with the help of disavowed agent and syndicate operative IIsa .
Meanwhile, CIA director Huntley and IMF agent William operate a senate oversight committee and Huntley succeeds in having the IMF disbanded and absorbed into the CIA, guaranteeing that Hunt will be captured within the day .
Six months later, Hunt remains unable to find the syndicate without help. He enlists the help of Benji arranging for him to attend the opera in Vienna to search for Lane whom he suspects was the syndicate leader.
Brandt recruits former agent Luther to find Hunt and prevented Hunley’s team from killing him.
Brandt and Luther were able to track Hunt, Benji and Faust to Morocco where the three were infiltrated.
After having stolen what they believed to be a ledger of syndicate agent , Faust takes the drive and is chased by Ethan and his group ,the syndicate members and Faust escapes and Benji reveals he had already made a copy of the data.
Faust returns to London and attempts to pass the file to her handler, who compels her to return the syndicate and finished her mission.
She returns to Lane only to find that had wiped the drive which in fact contained an red box that requires the prime minister’s worker in order to be unlocked .
The former IMF agents confront Faust when Lane’s men tell Benji they must deliver a copy of the drive to Lane.
Despite the objections of the others, Hunt realises Lane will always have a plan to acquire the files.
“Mission Impossible” is very interesting and enjoyable.
One thing I liked about the movie is it keeps you glued to the screen and the stunts are out of this world. We knew Tom Cruise with the bikes hence he used the opportunity to bring back the motor bike scenes but, however, with the advent of technology some scenes are childish as they were obvious.
