Exide unveils festive bonanza

Bonanza where batteries are being sold at the lowest prices like never before. The promotion is running from September to end of December 2012.

It added that the price reduction promotion is a way of cushioning our valued customers during this festive period.

Battery lifespan
When it comes to quality issues, Chloride has been working tirelessly to ensure a reduction in claims through improved systems and management of production efficiencies.   
Battery life span differs with usage.
A vehicle, which is always parked, would have a battery that lasts longer than for example a kombi that is always on the road.
In addition, correct application of the battery will also assist in the enjoyment of a longer lifespan.
All Exide authorised distributors outlets have application charts, which assist our valued customers to ensure that the correct battery is fitted onto the correct vehicle.

Distribution Network
The Exide batteries are distributed throughout the country via Battery Express outlets, which are located in Graniteside, Nelson Mandela, Gweru, Bulawayo, Mutare, Chinhoyi and at Auto Express in Harare Street.  
Victor Onion, another key distributor, can be found in Harare, Mutare and Bulawayo.
Harare Parts Distributors and Rural Auto Link as well as Transerv are some of the major distributors whose branch networks are scattered throughout the country.

Environment Management
Chloride Zimbabwe also buys old batteries for extraction of lead and recycling it to make new batteries.
