Fans support Mutasa

for the job and needs to be given time to complete his mission.

The Glamour Boys have struggled this season, despite a bright pre-season and a dream start in the first leg of their Champions League assignment, and some have inevitably questioned Mutasa’s pedigree to lead the team.
But a lot of fans appear to still believe in Mutasa as comments, carried below picked from a Facebook debate started by this newspaper, clearly show.

Question – Has Mutasa Failed?

Samaita hasn’t failed yet there is that little luck which is eluding him and the team.

Mabasa Marufu
He has not failed at all but he needs time. Let’s not forget that he had to build a completely new team after the nucleus of the team left. You journalists are the ones putting Mutasa under unnecessary pressure. You say he has a blunt strike force but forget that these youngsters need time. You remember when (Sebastian) Mutizirwa came to DeMbare he struggled but he came good and was top scorer runner-up. Just look at Barca and see how important it is to give players time. Messi was used mostly as a winger by Rijkaard and he never scored many goals per season but look at what he has done over the last two years. Mutasa is trying to build a team but very soon he will lose most the players and he will start again while the demanding fans want results.

James Maluwa
Mutasa is a good coach with over-hyped average players. I feel sorry for Madzibaba.
Solomon Mugadza
We Dynamos faithful would love to be where Motor Action are right now, or even better, but to frankly answer the question, NO, Mutasa has not failed YET!
Taka Mirimi
Like I have said before, I will repeat in block letters IT’S THE EXECUTIVE WHICH HAVE FAILED, this team is made of players who by the end of the year will either be moving out or seeking to sign new contracts so to expect those players to have the sense of belonging is just as good as asking Tony Blair to support the land reform programme.
Stanslous M Chitsike
No, no, no, no, no, Lodza has not failed but the founding fathers and the executive have failed him instead.
Tinashe Dziva
He needs a month’s time with an option of investing in some strikers during the window period
Shepherd Taruva
I think mashefu acho akadhakwa ini. Ko yopihwa ani team nhai? One munhu anoiita yake. Imbavha dzega dziriko idzi
Lovemore Makombe
Like I have always said, it’s not about Samaita alone. We need to have some structures this season. This should be the end of the founding fathers’ era. We must do something about it or else we will find ourselves deep in murky waters. Fellow DeMbare fans, we do NOT need the title this season but we need total transformation and restoration of pride into our great club. I know that the way we are playing is a desperate attempt to please our fans.
Malvern Mutemasango
I think it’s not necessarily Samaita’s fault. Half the Dynamos team is the same Kiglon squad that battled against relegation last season. Dynamos, for some strange reason, does not buy or keep its own players so one comes for the publicity and leaves at the end of the season with nothing going to the club. The founding fathers must let go now and let an Abramovich invest in something he will be passionate about.
Gondai Mazhuwa
This thing of rebuilding every season does not work, Mutasa needs the executive support because they are the ones who promised him orange juice but instead he is getting lemon juice. We supporters let’s support Lodza through and through. What I know is that the moment his wife tells him to quit, that will be another rebuilding exercise if not our downfall and this time pasi pemutamba.

Kudakwashe Muguyava Nyamtowo
Imagine Sir Alex starting next season without the whole team, the likes of Rooney, Chicharito, Vidic, among others, and then expecting him to take league championship? That’s the situation with Samaita. Remember he started from scratch and all he needs now is our support. I think so far so good, considering the way he started. Founding fathers are the big let down and right now, as we speak, we don’t have any player with a contract for two seasons.

Zacharia Mateta
I do not think Lloyd has failed at Dynamos. He does not have the right players to deliver the goods for Dynamos. The squad is mediocre and the bulk of the players are the same players who almost got Kiglon relegated last season. The other major problem is that there is no trusted gunman to score the goals for Dynamos. As long as Rodreck Mutuma and Khumbula are the only strikers at Dynamos, the team will battle to survive relegation because they will continue to get draws which are not sufficient to win the league title.

Lloyd Tekada
The executive at our team is mainly to blame. They gave Lodza some lemons and now they want orange juice. We need outright strikers like Maroto, Sithole and Gwekwerere.
Lovemore Makombe
Lloyd is our future coach and he should stay. Actually he must go for further training abroad. We love you Samaita, keep on pushing. But let us not forget to say adios to the founding fathers. Sharuko’s article will be like ‘From 1963 to 2011 – ADIOS OUR ELDERS’. That day the Herald will be sold out. Only we can wait, wait for their exit not Lloyd’s departure. Bodo!

Gift Patrick
I don’t feel that Mutasa has failed because parizvino the players we have at Dynamos were playing kuma team madiki so let’s give him time. Dynamos is the most supported team in this country so how do you expect a guy like Mutuma doing the same great things like he did at Township Rangers or Sporting Manhenga last year? I witnessed him scoring more than 16 goals in eight matches.

Malcom Fourie
What are they (founding fathers) holding on to when they left nothing for the club but just a name? Players have come and gone, property was acquired and sold and to date the club still has nothing but a name. DeMbare should be given to the community, where elections are held every two years and people held accountable. Coaches need to be given five-year contracts to build the team, that is from the Under-13s right up to the first team. There is no real foundation at the team. I blame coaches who take up posts and don’t stand up to these executive members demanding the good for the club.

Ernest Imbayarwo
He has not failed on the field, he is right but fans do not want this thing of going ku masowe Let him get two strikers on the second window period.

Reginald Betera
Let’s give Samaita time gentlemen, patience pays.
