A Nkulumane 12 family is appealing to the public for information that may lead to the location of their daughter, who has reportedly gone missing
Felix Mataruka, father of missing teen Prudence Mataruka, has appealed to the public for assistance in locating his daughter, who has been unaccounted for several days.
The family is growing increasingly worried as there has been no contact or information about her whereabouts since she disappeared.
“We do not know where she has gone. We suspect she may have run off with her friend, Prisca Mutandwa,” Felix Mataruka told reporters during an emotional interview.
He explained that Prudence left home unexpectedly, and despite repeated attempts to reach her, she has not responded to any calls or messages.
Felix described Prudence as a kind and responsible young woman, and the sudden disappearance has left the family distressed and desperate for answers.
He revealed that before her disappearance, the family had a misunderstanding with Prudence over her friendship with Prisca, he however did not divulge any further information.
“Yes, we had a misunderstanding with her over her friendship with Prisca, but as a family, we are deeply concerned for her safety and well-being. We are pleading with anyone who has seen her or knows where she might be to come forward,” he added.
The family has already reported Prudence’s disappearance to local authorities, who are now involved in the search efforts. Felix urged the community to remain vigilant and assist in any way possible to help reunite their family.
Anyone with information about Prudence Mataruka’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the nearest police station or reach out directly to the Mataruka family.
