The camp, initially set to end on Tuesday, could be extended depending on their view of the conditions and what the technical team says.
Club secretary Philemon Muvengwa confirmed the executive’s weekend assessment visit to Kariba.
“We will be visiting the team in Kariba this weekend as an executive to make an assessment and it is either the camp ends on Tuesday as initially scheduled or it could be extended depending on the needs assessment
but reports from the camp indicate everything is going according to plan,” said Muwengwa.
The newlook FC Platinum has been at the resort town since 4 January. It was felt concentration levels would be higher if the team was taken far away from the hustle and bustle of the Midlands and major cities.

The Zvishavane team will start away from home on the weekend of 16-18 February before welcoming their opponents on 3-4 March in Zvishavane.
Turning to progress at Mandava Stadium, Muwengwa said work had reached an advanced stage.
“We are yet to get a date for the inspection from either Caf or Zifa but we are hopeful the venue will pass the test.
“Work is now at an advanced stage and like we said our main emphasis is on improving the facility to better standards,” said Muwengwa.
Meanwhile, Chicken Inn could be the biggest beneficiary from the 15 transfer-listed players with three already training in Bulawayo. The quartet of striker Aleck Marime, Simon Njeleza, and Brighton Dube have been going through the paces at Luveve Stadium while Benjamin Marere and William Manondo were reported to be on their way to Bulawayo on Wednesday.
Marere’s handlers are believed to be eager to see him resuscitate his career at Highlanders.
